Perfumery the Roman Way - Make Your Own Fragrance

Perfumes have an immediate effect on our senses. Back in ancient times, aromatic incenses were offered to the gods and perfume was lavishly used and enjoyed by ordinary people. But how did the fragrances get into the perfume bottles?

After an informative tour of the baths in the Roman House, you will be introduced to the flowers, herbs and types of wood which were basic ingredients of ancient perfumes. Why not try your hand at creating your own fragrance and take it home with you in a decorative perfume bottle?

Recommended from school age. Children must be accompanied by an adult. The workshops are held in unheated rooms. If the weather is cold, warm clothes are highly recommended.

This workshop will be held in German. This offer may be available in English on request.
