Neo Noire (BS) at Kaserne Basel

Though they decline to like to be called such, the term supergroup fits the new band Neo Noire well. Founded by rock masterminds Fredy Rotter (Zatokrev, The Leaving, Crown) and Thomas Baumgartner (Erotic Jesus, Gurd, Undergod.), the furious swiss rock outfit is completed by Franky Kalwies (ex-Disgroove) and David Burger (ex-Slag in Cullet).

In autumn 2016, Neo Noire played their first gigs supporting New Model Army. During these wild live shows the band met the high expectations and pleased the crowd and fans.

Neo Noire releases their first album «Element»  worldwide on May 5, 2017 via Czar of Revelations Records. In cooperation with Raphael Bovey (Gojira, among others), they created a musical monster that already enjoys big interest by fans and media.

On their debut album Neo Noire impress with mixing different syles from alternative and post/psychedelic rock with metal and at the same time bridge the gap between these genres. The band celebrates their very own form of hybrid rock in a way that recalls the golden age of bands like Smashing Pumpkins or Jane’s Addiction in the 90s - but without all the gaudiness these bands were trapped in, while transferring their sound to the present day.
