Lee Fields and the Expressions (US) at Kaserne Basel

Veteran funk and soul man Lee Fields, aka Elmer Fields, from North Carolina has been actively recording and touring since 1969. He teamed up with his six-man band, The Expressions, in 2009 and has since released three formidable albums on the renowned labels Truth & Soul and Big Crown Records. The latest release with The Expressions «Special Night», recorded in 2016, is a fantastic example of his contemporary soul that features elements of classic Motown while always transporting the sound of his musical adventure to the here and now.
