Dance Festival Basel 2018
Das Tanzfest is a dance festival happening in the whole of Switzerland on the first weekend of May. In 30 cities throughout the country, there will be 600 dance classes, 450 performances and a spectacular 3D photo exhibition.
The dance festival is taking place in theaters, cultural centers and public spaces. Whether it's folk dance, hip-hop, or contemporary dance: you can put together your own programme, discover the works of the artists or even venture onto the dance floor yourself!
In Basel, there will be performances, films, workshops, dance courses, hip hop dance battles and much more. Go to the Marktplatz on Thursday, 3rd May 2018, from 17 - 19h for a big dance parade!
